Our goal is to support you and your whānau through your pregnancy journey. Work through the resources at your own pace, alone or with your birth partner, to feel confident and prepared for the arrival of your little one.
Holistic Approach
Our antenatal education course at Village Birth Aotearoa takes a holistic approach to pregnancy, focusing on the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of expectant parents. We provide comprehensive resources to empower you to make informed decisions and navigate the journey to parenthood. Designed for all learners, includes visual, video and text based resources. Explore everything from hypnobirthing to critically analysing research.
Whānau Centered
We understand the importance of whānau (family) in the journey of pregnancy and birth. Our courses are designed to involve your support network, whether it's your partner, family members, or friends. Our emphasis is strongly placed on the decision of the birthing person, and how they want to make decisions. Informed decision making is not being told what to do by your provider.
Evidence-Based Education
At Village Birth Aotearoa, our antenatal education is grounded in evidence-based practices and the latest research in maternity care. We provide up-to-date information and resources to ensure you are well-informed and prepared for pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum.
